GAME RULES REGULATIONS

GENERAL RULES
There is zero tolerance for cheating and foul or sexual language or type content.
Any player arguing with the host will be disqualified from the tournament.
Arguing with another player will also cause a player to be disqualified.
The use of any auto or cheat programs will disqualify the player
from our league and POGO will be notified.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF YOUR OPPS COUNTS AND STATS AT TOKEN TIME
TO HELP CLEAR UP ANY QUESTIONS THAT MAY ARISE...STATS DON'T
LIE.  You must make your profile viewable (not private) for the host if a
question arises about your stats.  If you don't, then you will lose the round.
Please pay attention to the main chat screen. All tournament instructions will be given
there.
Any game variations will be posted on the tournament registration page as well.
All league members are expected to follow tourney rules throughout the tournament
whether or not they are participating.
All of our games are nonrated, unless its a variety and is stated in advance
before closing and stated in the rules...

As we encourage variety and the imaginations of our hosts.
This is a good reason to be in tourney room early so you know specifics of tour.

If at the time of your tourney, there is another one going on; please hold chat to a
minimum, you may also use Caps.  Just be courteous and wish them GL!  Also be sure
they are a league we share that room with..  Contact an Admin if they are not on the
list as share.

PLAYER ETIQUETTE
Please do not ask a host to Private Chat or IM a host while a tourney is in progress.
If there are concerns about scores please post in main chat when asked by the host
after the announcement of winners.   Please ask all questions about rules as soon as
rules finish running or before tour starts in main chat.  Rules are placed on each and
every tourney page and you should have read them when you register for tour.  The
little box you check when registering says "I have read over the rules and agree to
abide by these rules."
It is VERY important to be on time for tours, PLEASE don't expect the TD to
hold up a tour.  They are to close tours promptly and on time.

NEGATIVE COMMENTS, MISTAKES OR CORRECTIONS OF THE HOST OR
TOUR PAGES WILL NOT BE DONE IN MAIN CHAT.  PLEASE USE IM OR
PRIVATE CHAT.  IF IT CAN WAIT TILL AFTER TOUR, THEN GET WITH

REGULAR SWISS
- The tournament is finished as soon as there is only one player
remaining who is undefeated. (The number of rounds is set before the tournament in
order to specify a maximum number of players. If the tournament is set for six (6)
rounds, this does not guarantee that there will be six rounds of play since players
withdrawing from the tournament may shorten the rounds required to reach an
undefeated player. If for some reason after the given number of rounds has been
played and there is still more than one undefeated player, the tournament will be
extended in order to determine a winner.)

TRUE SWISS - In True Swiss System format, the number of rounds is preset by
the TD before the tournament starts and regardless of the number of registrations,
the number of rounds does not change once the tournament begins. (The TD can
manually change the number of rounds prior to the tournament starting.) After all the
rounds are complete, the player with the most points wins. If there is no conclusive
point leader, there is no winner of the tournament. However, as an example of a true
swiss system, suppose there is only one undefeated player after 5 rounds of play,
and the tournament is set for 8 rounds of play. The tournament does not stop, giving
those players who have already a lost a chance to win the tournament.

1vs1vs1 or 1vs1vs1vs1 - the pairings are done in either groups or three or four
depending on the tourney type.(This is stated in the calendar when you check in)

TEAM PLAY- (Partners) - The computer will automatically pair you with another
player. Unless otherwise stated in advance. You keep your partner until you lose a
round. If your partner is booted
they go on 5 minute timer then that player is DQ'ed. The lone player may continue
but will be against 2 players.

NO SUBS ALLOWED
If a player in a team goes missing, the remaining player may continue if they wish.
They will be at a disadvantage but it is their choice to continue or not.
The only time this does not apply is Stick the Dealer Pinochle where players must not
bid.  You may use a player to Sub in STD only.
In regular Pino, 4player Canasta, Dice Derby and any other 4player card game that
plays with the bots.. The bot may sub.

LADDER GAMES -Ladder games are typically played using the same rules
as the game being hosted. The nonwinner of the ladder MUST report the loss on the
main league page under  REPORT LOSS
REQUIRED: Your Ladder Name, Password and Your Opponents Ladder Name.
NO ONE MAY LADDER WHILE IN A TABLES TOURNEY
OR ONE THAT DOES NOT ALLOW EVERYONE TO FINISH AT THE SAME TIME.
As this causes tourney delays

GAME BREAKS
THERE WILL BE A GAME BREAK BETWEEN ALL ROUNDS,
EXCEPT BETWEEN SEMI  FINAL ROUNDS. SWISS HAS A BREAK BETWEEN ALL
ROUNDS.
IN CASE OF A TIE~ ALL TIE BREAKERS WILL BE PLAYED DURING BREAK GAME.
